Effective June 1 2007, Stacey Epperson, Executive Director made a handover of the day-to-day management of Frontier to Tom Carew, Chief Operating Officer. Tom is Frontier’s Founding Director and managed the organization from 1974 to 2000. Stacey will remain the Executive Director and oversee policy, advocacy and research new opportunities related to manufactured housing. “I look forward to working with our partners, funders and staff to keep on track with our mission of providing affordable housing solutions to build better communities,” Carew said.

As part of our new strategic planning process, the Board of Directors has recommitted to the principles of what has made Frontier strong and will be deepening the ties to the local communities that we currently serve. Many of our stakeholders have identified new opportunities, especially in manufactured housing, for Frontier to explore and Epperson will be working with the Strategic Planning Committee to respond to those opportunities.
